Yellow Fever Vaccination
Yellow fever is a serious disease found in certain parts of Africa and South America. It is spread via mosquitoes and can cause symptoms such as fever, flu like symptoms, jaundice and bleeding. Yellow fever is a preventable disease and a vaccine is available. It is mandatory to have had the yellow fever vaccination for travel to certain countries. Yellow fever vaccination is only available at designated centres. Ashford Avenue Family Practice is an authorised yellow fever clinic servicing Milperra, Bankstown and surrounding suburbs. A stamped and signed "International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis" or "Yellow Card" will be provided after the vaccination is administered.
